From the Front Desk

It has been a very busy few months with the Mental Health Summit: Out of the Shed: Men, Boys and Mental Health and many other projects happening, but we finally have time to put together a newsletter.

Occurring this month, Leanne Craze one of our Senior Consultants has been awarded the Mental Health Services Conference of Australia and New Zealand: Exceptional Individual Contribution Award.

This is what they had to say about why they gave the award to Leanne:

"In recognition of substantial roles taken in shaping the future of Mental Health services and in addressing emerging issues, demonstrating true expertise and creativity in contributions to research, advocacy, reform and consultancy, underpinned by resolute support for the rightful place of the consumer voice"

A well deserved and fantastic contribution in many roles over many years to mental health reform in Australia. Well done Leanne!

Marion has also developed a tool for the community sector workforce called WorksWell which is for sale. For further information and cost, see the featured resource at the bottom of this email. Marion and John are also available to assist further if needed. Give them a call to see what they can do for your organisation.

The presentations from the Mental Health Summit are now available on our website for download. Many thanks to the hard work everyone has put into making the summit so successful. The link is in the latest news list below.

Time is flying by and I hope everyone has a safe school holiday break. Take care on the road.
