Ingrid Ozols, managing director of mentalhealth@work® (mh@work®), is mental health advocate and workplace educator of many years.


Ingrid has contributed to many Australian mental health boards, committees and advisory groups, including being the inaugural Chair of BlueVoices, beyondblue’s consumer and carer arm for many years and a former board member of the Mental Health Council of Australia.

Other memberships and advisory groups include the Royal Australian and New Zealand College Psychiatry,  The General Practitioner’s Mental Health Standards Collaboration.

Co- author of  mh@work’s  hugely popular  book  “Creating A Mentally Healthy and Supportive Workplace”  and elearning tool, through mh@work®, Ingrid has assisted in bringing innovative strategic educational programs and services to many thousands of employees nationally and internationally in this relatively new arena.

Travelling extensively around Australia and overseas, Ingrid speaks to many groups, facilitates and chairs forums, seminars, conferences and has also appeared extensively in the media.

A 2007 Victorian State Finalist for Australia’s prestigious Telstra’s Business Women’s Awards for Innovation,  with passion & enthusiasm, she brings a topic of mental health, mental ill health out of the corporate wardrobe and on to the board table combining a 15 year career in HR and her own journey from mental illness to wellness.

Young and Well Cooperative Research Centre

Australia’s most comprehensive youth, technology and mental health collaboration, the Young and Well Cooperative Research Centre, has today launched an unprecedented online campaign targeting Australian teenagers, drawing attention to the consequences of thoughtless and hurtful use of social media and empowering them to act with respect online. Unique to the campaign is the application of an innovative digital tracking methodology which – in conjunction with a cohort study that will survey and interview young people – will measure its impact on behaviour change over time.
